Mr. Jamie Birdsong has been the Principal of Sts. Peter & Paul Academy since the 2021-2022 school year. Mr. Birdsong was the 5th grade homeroom teacher for the previous four school years. He taught 5th grade Religion and Math, Science and Health to both 4th and 5th grade students. Before coming to SPPA, Mr. Birdsong spent 20 years in public education. He has taught 6th grade English Language Arts, Math, and Science, and 7th / 8th grade Math. Mr. Birdsong has also served as an Assistant Principal and Principal throughout those years. He has been a Principal for both a Middle School (6th – 8th grade) and Elementary School (K – 5th grade). He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education (1996) and Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration (2002) from Xavier University. Mr. Birdsong currently holds a Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent License through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW).
