- Buddies: 7th and 8th grade students are matched with Kindergarten and 1st grade students to serve as role models
- Community service: students raise money to buy Christmas presents for low-income familiesÂ
- Dance Team
- Principal Corp: students develop leadership skills by leading school tours, serving as greeters for guests, and assisting the Principal with special projects
- Student Council: members are elected by their peers after giving an election speech
- Trip to Washington, D.C. for 7th and 8th grades every two years (two students are awarded the Jerry Stites Memorial Scholarship to cover their expenses for the trip)
