Student Life

  • Athletic activities are available through Greater Cincinnati Catholic Youth Sports and Reading Valley Youth Organization.
  • Beta Club – Students in 7th and 8th grade can join the SPPA National Jr. Beta Club.
  • Buddies: 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are matched with Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade students to serve as role models.
  • Community service: students raise money during Penny Wars sponsored by the Student Council to buy Christmas presents for families in need.
  • Dance Team: students in grades 4th – 8th can participate on the SPPA Dance Team.
  • Principal Corp: students in grades 6th – 8th develop leadership skills by leading school tours, serving as greeters for guests, and assisting the Principal with special projects.
  • Student Council: students in grades 4th – 8th are elected by their peers to serve as class representatives and officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer).
  • Every two years, students in grades 7th and 8th take a trip to Washington, D.C. The families participate in different fundraising activities to help with the cost of the trip. Two students are awarded the Jerry Stites Memorial Scholarship to cover their expenses for the trip.
